Tanning Policy

All tanning services require 50% deposit, payment should be enclosed with hide (s) sent to the tannery. The only exceptions are any hides such as elk, buffalo and beef which are measured by the square linier foot. These hides require a 50% deposit based on the green measurement of the hide. Final charges are determined after the hide is tanned and are based upon the measurements charged by us.

All species must be legally taken and be accompanied by the proper tags and/or permits as required by state or federal law. Please make a copy of your hunting/trapping license or permit, and place in a plastic zip lock bag in with the hide. Please mark the out side of the box clearly e.g. animal hides raw / Atten: Marking Room

We do not and cannot assume any responsibility or guarantee the results of any dressed specimen (Tanning). There are too many factors including the knowledge of the sportsman, primness of the fur or weather conditions. Note that during the Tanning process your hides will be subjected to harsh chemicals such as , Brighter, bleach, blood out, and acid. Such that hide when hides are re-hydrated they shrink up some some up to 4 inches is common, this happens on air dried hides more than others, like beaver, coyotes and others put up for resale.
