Welcome
The Tannery Shop, located in Gering in the Panhandle of Nebraska,
is situated along the historic
Oregon Trail. Not far (about 8 miles) is the
Robidoux Trading Post established in the late 1848. Other
historical sites near the Tannery Shop are the
Scotts Bluff National Monument,
Chimney Rock,
Courthouse Rock
and Jailhouse Rock all historical landmarks along the
Oregon Trail.
The Tannery Shop and its subsidiary KC Ordnance & Supply is a fully
functioning trading post dealing in: raw fur, tanned furs, leather,
gun parts and military surplus. And just as the
trappers, traders and pioneers had used trading posts to supply
them with ordnances, trapping goods and tanning services so too can
the seasonal hunter depend on our trading post to supply them with
hunting and trapping essentials
Thanks for stopping by the Tannery Shop
